Dr. Benson Naman graduated with Honors in Human Health Science from Ontario Tech University in Oshawa before pursuing his dental education at the University of Otago, New Zealand, where he graduated with Distinction in 2024. Recognized for his outstanding academic performance, he was awarded a Scholarship in Dental Surgery and ranked among the top 10 dental schools globally. During his time at Ontario Tech University, he served as Vice-President of the pre-dental club, fostering a community for aspiring dental professionals.
Dr. Naman began his career working in a rural dental practice in New Zealand, where he provided essential care to underserved populations with limited access to dental services. Since March 2024, he has been practicing in Whitby, where he was drawn by the amazing staff and a patient base that aligns with his commitment to delivering honest, high-quality care.
Dr. Naman has a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry, digital workflows, and new technologies. He is currently focusing on enhancing his skills in aesthetic dentistry, including advanced techniques in veneers.
Dedicated to continuous professional development, Dr. Naman has completed various continuing education courses in Botox, sedation, and aesthetic dentistry in both Canada and the U.S. He is actively involved in professional organizations, including the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO).
Growing up in Ontario, Canada, Dr. Naman now resides in Richmond Hill. He is an animal lover, although he currently has no pets. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and water sports, and he’s an avid volleyball player. A true food enthusiast, he is well-acquainted with the best local restaurants and cafés.
Dr. Naman’s diverse interests extend to graphic design, digital art, dancing, videography, and photography. He also has experience as a medical first responder and as a teaching assistant at Ontario Tech University, showcasing his commitment to health and education.
